Playing an overweight stalker, Russell Crowe is frightening in the trailer for the upcoming thriller Unhinged.
Known for portraying the good guy in movies, Academy Award winner Russell Crowe is a different type of maniac here, exuding the villainous streak that makes his character worthy of the title of the film.
Co-starring Jimmi Simpson, Gabriel Bateman, and Caren Pistorius, Unhinged is directed by Derrick Borte and the plot follows a single mother who gets an unpleasant surprise when she is starts being followed and tormented by a stranger (Crowe) after a road rage confrontation at a red light.
The 2-minute trailer shows Crowe’s character unleash hell as he goes on berserker mode, causing harm to anyone who seems to stand in his way.
It’s a movie that should please those who enjoy a good thriller, and they get the added advantage of an actor of Crowe’s caliber apparently having fun being as violent as he has ever been on film.
