Colin Farrell is currently in talks to play Penguin, one of Batman’s foes, in The Batman.

Jonah Hill was previously attached to the role but departed the project and now Farrell may bring the character of Oswald Cobblepot (a.k.a. Penguin) to life.

Farrell had played the villain Bullseye in the superhero movie Daredevil, and this will be the third time Penguin will be portrayed on the big screen. Danny DeVito played him in Batman Returns and Burgess Meredith acted as the character in the 1966 Batman movie.
