A second trailer for Tom Cruise’s upcoming movie Top Gun: Maverick shows an icon’s return to share his knowledge with some trainees.
Top Gun: Maverick will feature a lot of aerial escapades with Tom Cruise’s character showing just how much of a pro he is as he takes to the skies.
The new video clip gives us an insight into how the protagonist is held in high regard as he gets set to train some eager recruits. A brief shot reveals that some of the students might not take to his teaching methods easily and Miles Teller (Footloose) gets into a physical confrontation with the veteran.
Written by Peter Craig, Justin Marks, Christopher McQuarrie, and Eric Warren Singer, Top Gun: Maverick is set several years after the events of the first movie and the hero faces new challenges this time around in what could tarnish his name and career.
It is scheduled for theatrical release in the United States on the 26th of June, 2020. See the latest trailer below:
