New footage from the upcoming movie Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn shows that the female characters are capable of doing serious damage to their male opponents.
The yet-to-be-released movie is one of next year’s most-anticipated films and with the ever-growing demand for more female-led flicks, DC made the wise decision to follow up on Harley Quinn’s story after Suicide Squad.
Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn features actress Margot Robbie leading a female pack in a risky mission against the city’s crime lord Black Mask (Ewan McGregor).
Fans expect nothing short of badass action and an engaging plot as the last movie that was close to this one in terms of having a female ensemble cast (the rebooted Charlie’s Angels) didn’t do so well at the box office. Let’s hope that is not the case here.
The new video clip was unveiled at The Game Awards 2019 and this time, each female lead is given a little time to show the different ways she can hurt her adversaries. Check it out below:
Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation Of One Harley Quinn stars Margot Robbie, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Rosie Perez, and Ewan McGregor. It will be released by Warner Bros. Pictures in the United States on February 7, 2020.
