Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is yet to begin production but one of its lead stars, Karen Gillan, has read the completed script and has some positive things to say about it.
Gillan plays the ferocious Nebula, foster sister of Gamora (played by Zoe Saldana) and adopted child of Thanos (Josh Brolin), who joins the team of misfits known as The Guardians of the Galaxy.
Nebula’s relationship with Gamora was explored in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and saw the character go through a major arc that ended her quest to kill her sister.
The actress who plays the blue-skinned fighter revealed during an interview with Yahoo! Entertainment that the script for the third Guardians film is amazing and she was obviously excited at the prospect of working again with director James Gunn.
I can say that I’ve read it and it’s amazing. We’re all really excited that James is back to complete the trilogy because it wouldn’t have felt right without him. It’s a wonderful, wonderful script.Karen Gillan
Gillan’s words should come as no surprise as Marvel movies are known to be remarkable in quality, with relatable characters in well-defined roles.
