Spider-Man actor Tom Holland has stated how different his recent role is in a movie directed by the Russo brothers, revealing that he has gone from portraying a superhero to doing heroine in his upcoming movie.
Holland made the comment while speaking on Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday, saying that he just returned from Cleveland where he was for two months shooting. He also stated that it was good to be back.
The Russo Brothers also directed the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame and their new project should be something worth seeing.
Holland obviously enjoyed working with the directors again and said the production was going well.
I’ve been in Cleveland for two months. I’ve been shooting a movie with the Russo brothers.
… This is very not a superhero-related movie. It’s a drug movie. But it’s going amazing. It’s been a really strange experience for me because I’ve been doing the superhero thing for a while now. And now I’m doing heroine.Tom Holland
The young actor was quick to point out that it wasn’t the actual heroine as it was fake.
