Fans of the Star Wars franchise have assumed that the latest movie Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is the last they will ever see of the Jedi heroes but Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy has said otherwise.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker has finally premiered and those who have seen it have differing opinions, with some saying calling it a satisfying conclusion while others weren’t so pleased with the plot.
Kathleen Kennedy who was present at the red carpet premiere of the movie said that they experienced a mixture of emotions and that the story of the Skywalkers was not necessarily done as they could appear in one way or another.
I have to say it’s a mixture of emotions, I have to say because we’ve had such an incredible time. It’s just flown by these five years and doing these three movies and to realize that we’re completing the saga and we’re not finishing the Skywalkers necessarily, they could always in one way or another reappear but for right now it is bringing it to a close.Kathleen Kennedy
The Skywalkers are known to strong carriers of ‘the force’ and their journey in the Star Wars series has fascinated audiences around the world.
It is hoped that whether or not we get to see their legendary story continued, their memories will live on in the hearts of fans who have held them dear all these years.
