Nollywood actor Alabi Yellow is dead. The veteran Yoruba actor was confirmed dead earlier today at his residence in Ikorodu, Lagos. Odunews confirmed that Dayo Akinpelu aka Alabi Yellow finally gave up the ghost on the 22th of December 2019.
It was confirmed that the deceased suffered a stroke after his wife’s death in March. One will recall that the popular Yoruba actor featured in Kunle Afolayan’s latest movie “mokalik”. The news of his death shocked everyone, because he never showed any sign of illness while shooting the movie. The actor was one of the most popular faces in the Yoruba movie industry.
He also authored a Yoruba literature ‘A Ba Oko Ku’ which has been included in the curriculum for pupils in junior secondary school.
While we all bask in the euphoria of the festive period, it is indeed a mourning period for Alabi Yellow’s family and relatives. May his soul rest in peace
