Thomas Jeffrey Hanks is an American actor and filmmaker who is one of the most popular and recognizable film stars worldwide. He became visibly emotional while receiving his Golden Globes award.
The 63-year-old actor is known for his comedic and dramatic roles in films as Splash (1984), Bachelor Party (1984) and starred in the Robert Langdon films, and voices Sheriff Woody in the Toy Story film series and his known to be one of the most popular and recognizable film stars worldwide who is widely regarded as an American cultural icon.
While accepting the Cecil B.Mille Award at Golden Globes which celebrates “Outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment”, he then gave a wonderful speech that almost made him and everyone present to tears, as they say, there is no crying in baseball but there is during an acceptance speech.
A lot of fans celebrated with him, while some asked funny questions about one of his sons present at the occasion, saying they wonder if he is surely the son of Tom Hanks.
