Your friendly neighborhood Spiderman is poised to return for a third solo movie and details on the upcoming Marvel film have been released.
Reports confirm that Spider-Man 3 will begin production in July 2020 with filming location veering off from Europe (where the previous part took place) to Los Angeles, New York, Iceland, and Marvel’s usual Atlanta spot.
Fans will no doubt be excited to see Tom Holland play the web-crawling superhero who faced Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) in Spider-Man: Far From Home.
Since his introduction into the MCU, Holland has done nothing but amaze audiences with his portrayal of Peter Parker and his relationship with Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) who died in Avengers: Endgame was something that increased his overall appeal to fans.
Plot details for the upcoming movie haven’t been revealed but it is assumed that what awaits the hero is an unpleasant experience as his identity was revealed to the world in the end credits of Far From Home (no thanks to a video of Mysterio letting people in on the secret).
We don’t need a soothsayer to tell us that Spider-Man’s secret identity being leaked will have major consequences. His blossoming romance with MJ (Zendaya) will also be seen.
Also, a new villain awaits the protagonist in his next adventure. The comic books are teaming with them so the producers should have no problem picking one or two.
