The press tour and planned Chinese premiere of the latest James Bond movie No Time To Die has been halted due to coronavirus scare.
Billed as Daniel Craig’s last outing as the popular British spy 007, the film sees him face an antagonist (played by Rami Malek) who says that the secret from Bond’s past will be the death of him.
On hand to aid Bond in his fight are Lashana Lynch, Anna de Armas, and Naomi Harris, who all look more than capable of holding their own against the villain’s minions.
The Beijing premiere of No Time To Die was scheduled for April 2020 but the plague of the deadly coronavirus has made the plan to be scrapped.
The press tour was also billed to hit other cities in China but those destinations have been removed from the press schedule. That implies that the film will miss out on press opportunities at the world’s second-largest box office market.
The epidemic created by the outbreak of the virus has led to the shutdown of the movie cinemas in the area as efforts to contain the spread of the disease continues.
