Cyclone, a new character in the DC Universe is reportedly being cast to feature in Dwayne Johnson’s upcoming Black Adam movie.

The character of Cyclone is associated with the Justice League of America (JSA), a group of superheroes much like Marvel’s Avengers, and will make her debut in the film alongside the super-powered beings.

Black Adam stars Dwayne Johnson (who has been attached to the role for quite a while) as the titular anti-hero and it will reportedly introduce the JSA characters Hawkman, Stargirl, and Atom Smasher.

The Illuminerdi reports that a casting call has gone out for the role of Cyclone (a female with the power to manipulate wind) in Black Adam. The search is for an actress in her 20s.

Cyclone’s real name in the comics is Maxine Hunkel and she is a college student and granddaughter of Red Tornado. She is relatively new in DC Comics and her inclusion in the upcoming film could play a significant part in the story.
