Live Schreiber has joined Will Smith in the upcoming biopic, King Richard.
The movie is a biopic that is based on the true-life story of Richard Williams, the father of tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams.
Schreiber is reported to play tennis coach Paul Cohen, a noted instructor who worked with John McEnroe and Pete Sampras, among others.
The film is currently in production in Los Angeles and will be directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green. The cast includes Saniyya Sydney and Demi Singleton as Venus and Serena, Jon Bernthal, and Aunjanue Ellis.
The plot will show the determination of Williams (who will be played by Will Smith), whose training of his daughters led them to Grand Slam victories, shaping them into two of the greatest players in the sport.
Live Schreiber is an American actor, director, screenwriter, and producer who became popular in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
His movies include Ransom (1996), The Sum of All Fears (2002), X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009), Salt (2010), and Goon (2011).
Schreiber is also a stage actor and has performed in several Broadway productions.
