Nigerian rapper Olamide has announced that his record label, YBNL has signed a partnership deal with top American record label, Empire Distribution Records.
The YBNL boss made the announcement on his official handle on Tuesday night.
Announcing the deal, Olamide said:
Happy to announce that YBNL and Empire got a joint venture deal. Myself and Fireboy with any other act i sign next ready to shake the world
The Record label also announced the deal on its official twitter handle with a picture of Olamide signing some documents and a caption which reads; Nigeria going global.
Empire Records have partnerships with loads of American artistes and labels including the record label of Grammy award winner, Kendrick Lamar (Top Dawg Entertainment) and Tyga,

Olamide also becomes the first Nigerian artiste signed to the label.
