The Kobe Bryant Memorial which took place recently was well-attended by many celebrities, but one thing that stood out in the minds of people was the fact that singer Beyonce had given the order that her pictures not be taken.
As many A-listers paid tributes to Kobe and Gianni, Beyonce also did her part, and it was nothing short of touching.
Per her request, photographers who were also in attendance were banned by the organizers from taking any pictures of the star. Now, we know why.
An insider has revealed to HollywoodLife that the reason for the order is that Beyonce didn’t want the attention taken away from Kobe’s widow Vanessa Bryant and family.
Beyonce only performed because of the love and respect she had for the late basketball icon, and she also wanted to do something special for Vanessa.
After her performance, the Halo singer sat with Vanessa. The two have been friends for a while and the musician tried her best to comfort her.
