The singer had been directed to report himself at the station following his involvement at the birthday party organized by actress Funke Akindele, which was a violation of the lockdown order by the government.
Bala Elkana, the state police spokesman, confirmed that the artist had turned himself in on Monday afternoon, April 6, 2020. He is to be charged to court as well.
The police also said that they had launched a search for the remaining persons who were in attendance at the birthday party with Funke and her husband JJC Skillz during the weekend.
OduNews.com reported earlier that the actress and her hubby were sentenced to three weeks community service, with a fine of N100,000 each.
