While observing the quarantine due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Spider-Man actor Tom Holland got a gift from fellow movie star Ryan Reynolds that made him fail to keep his promise to stop drinking.

Holland made the disclosure on Jimmy Kimmel Live! yesterday, stating that the quarantine had led to excessive drinking on his part (he is currently in London).
He said:
“I actually said this weekend that I was gonna stop drinking for a week. I was going to have a week off.
And them literally Monday morning, Ryan Reynolds sent me a case of gin.
That’s Deadpool trying to corrupt Spider-Man.”

The gift of gin was sent with a personalized note to Holland which reads: “Some lovely neighbourhood Spider-Gin. Love Ryan.”
During the latter part of the interview, Kimmel asked the Spidey star if he could say hello to his three-year-old son Billy.

Kimmel had promised his son that Spider-Man was going to be around for his birthday party but because of the COVID-19 lockdown, that was no longer possible.
The talk show host asked if Holland could say hello to the boy in the character of the web-slinging hero, and the actor willingly obliged.
