D’banj’s Accuser Seyitan Says She Was Never Arrested, Is Moving Past The Drama

Seyitan, the lady who told her friend that she was raped by singer D’banj, has denied being arrested by the artist.

Benjamin Ese, a friend of the accuser, had disclosed about a week ago that she was raped by D’banj in December 2018 at Glee Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos.

The popular singer had responded by releasing a pre-litigation letter, demanding an apology and the sum of N100 million from her for tarnishing his image.

On the evening of Wednesday, June 17, 2020, the issue had taken a different turn as news of Seyitan’s alleged arrest had spread like wildfire.

Now, she has tweeted, revealing that she didn’t know where the rumors were coming from and that she and her mum were never arrested.

She also said she was done with the drama; choosing to move on and leaving everything behind her.
