Peter Okoye, better known by his music name Mr. P, has revealed he and his family’s experience with the dreaded coronavirus.
In a video clip which he posted online, the artist is seen talking about how he had to isolate himself from his wife and kids following his COVID-19 diagnosis.
Peter said at the time he resorted to video call to communicate with his wife, and couldn’t even see his daughter who was down with the virus as well.
Praising his wife for being courageous, he said she damned the consequences and went to be with her sick daughter as she couldn’t leave her alone.
Not long after opting to be with her daughter, Peter’s wife contracted the virus.
Fortunately for them, they have all recovered as they tested negative recently.
In the final seconds of the video, Peter enjoins fellow Nigerians and all his fans to take COVID-19 seriously as he says it is real.
