K-pop stars across the world have criticised Nigerian singer Lyta for plagiarising a music video from Kpop artiste, GOT7.
Lyta who recently joined Naira Marley’s record label released the visuals to his new single, “Hold Me Down”, which had exact scenes as “Just Right” by South Korean K-pop boy band GOT7.
A Twitter fan page of GOT7 @GOT7_JYP noted the similarity between both videos. “Please take legal action on this. We do not accept plagiarism”, they tweeted and tagged the boy band official Twitter account.
Along with their tweet, the fan page shared a video in which both music videos were placed together.

So apparently, Lyta’s video plagiarism was deliberate. It’s a PR stunt. Supposedly aimed to rile up convo and organic views.The director’s name is not even real and the video comment section is locked.And then deliberately promoted in Asia for effect. Naira Marley clout master 😊
