A family’s legacy is threatened in Dune trailer…
Finally, we have our first look at Denis Villeneuve’s upcoming remake of the classic sci-fi tale and it is worth the wait.
With an ensemble cast and a daring director, Dune looks to change the landscape of the science-fiction genre with a young hero who must embrace his destiny.
The clip shows Paul Atreides (Timothee Chalamet), the protagonist haunted by vivid dreams of what is to come. He speaks of a “crusade coming” and it seems a young girl (Zendaya) has a pivotal role to play in his life.
From then on, we see Paul’s family, the vast desert of the planet ruled by his father, his trainer (played by Jason Momoa), and the different battles that take place.
I’m impressed by the trailer because from what has been revealed, we will get to see not just the expected action but some character development with the hero.
Director Villeneuve has a lot to prove with Dune and many fans have high hopes. May we not all be disappointed!

After conquering COVID-19, actor Tom Hanks is back to resume filming Elvis Presley’s biopic…
Production for Baz Luhrmann’s film feature is set to restart again and Tom Hanks has reportedly returned to Australia.
Filming had to be halted in the early part of the year when the 64-year-old movie star tested positive for COVID-19 along with his wife.
According to Variety, production will restart on September 23, 2020, in Queensland and Luhrmann had this to say about it:
“We’re back to, as Elvis liked to say, ‘taking care of business!’ It is a real privilege in this unprecedented global moment that Tom Hanks has been able to return to Australia to join Austin Butler and all of our extraordinary cast and crew to commence production on Elvis.
I cannot emphasize enough how lucky we feel in the current climate that the state of Queensland, and Queenslanders in general, have been so supportive of this film. We thank our partners in the Queensland Government and Queensland Health for their extremely diligent process, so that we can be an example how creativity and productivity can proceed safely and responsibly in a way that protects our team and the community at large. We are all excited to start working with Tom Hanks when he is out of quarantine in two weeks.”
Gal Gadot takes a coronavirus test as she gets set to return to Red Notice alongside Dwayne Johnson…
The Wonder Woman actress posted images of her on her Twitter page showing her undergoing a COVID-19 test before returning to the set of Red Notice.
The film is a forthcoming action-comedy that will see Gadot star opposite Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds.
Set to premiere on Netflix, Red Notice was in the middle of filming when the pandemic put a stop to it. Thankfully, that is about to change as production is now underway.
