The very much anticipated Fenty Skin and Fenty Beauty, popular skincare brands owned by world-renowned singer, Rihanna, finally launched in Nigeria.
Asides from Nigeria, other African countries such as Botswana, Ghana, South Africa, and Zambia, also witnessed the launch of the luxury brand on Thursday.
The event held in Lagos was star-studded with actors, artists, and social media influencers. In videos making rounds on the Internet, celebrities were also allowed to sample the skincare products at the event. Actress, Adunni Ade; media personality, Derenle Edun; Big Brother Naija Season four winner, Mercy Eke; social media influencer, Priscilla Ojo, and many others were in attendance.
Rihanna, who recently welcomed her first child had announced that her skincare products will officially launch in Africa later this month.
“Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe. We coming at you on May 27th and that’s just the beginning!!! #FentyAfrica,” she had tweeted earlier.
