The list, which examined the top 20 songs in the year 2022, was released on Thursday.

‘Buga’ by Kizz Daniel and Tekno was named second on the list while ‘Sungba’, Asake’s collaborative song with Burna Boy took the third spot.

‘Last Last’ has dominated numerous music charts as well as social media conversations since its release.

The song, which is the seventh track off ‘Love Damini’, Burna’s sixth studio album, was released in July.

In the less than three-minute track, the ‘Way Too Big’ crooner tells the tale of broken relationships and the difficulties they attract.

The singer also makes reference to the word “breakfast” — a commo

n Nigerian slang that is used to describe heartbreak — in his cautionary words to lovers.

A few weeks ago, ‘Last Last’ entered its 30th week on the official singles chart in the United Kingdom.
