Fans Register Displeasure At Burna Boy's Late Appearance To Concert In Lagos
Burna Boy

Burna Boy’s devoted followers were disappointed to see him arrive late to Sunday night’s gig in Lagos.

Guests at the “Love Damini Concert” rushed to Twitter to express their displeasure with the singer’s tardy performance start time.

Attendees claim the performance began at 9 p.m. but it wasn’t until 3 a.m. when Burna Boy took the stage.

“You queue for six hours for fuel; still stand six hours for Burna Boy,” Joey Akan, an entertainment analyst, tweeted. “This is one rough ride!”

Tweeted @ade adeayo, who posted video of the incident: “The scenario on ground. Burna Boy’s show had not yet begun at this late hour.

As of 9 o’clock, there were already a few individuals here. This is very awful and unethical, especially coming from a performer with your level of international prominence.

The tweeter reported that “the band is performing and Burna Boy appears on stage around 3:30.”

The crowd applauds, and all is forgotten. Not a single thing was taken away from it. Happy New Year, and good night, guys.

Keep in mind that no apologies were offered. He even justified his decision to stay at the site with claims of benevolence and Seyi Vibez’s pleas.

After his performance on Sunday in Lagos, Burna Boy blasted his audience by revealing that he had been falsely accused of murder in a club in August of 2022.

The singer claimed that if it weren’t for another performer named Seyi Vibes, he would have left the venue and gone home.

If it weren’t for Seyi Vibes, he said in Pidgin English, “I’d just go home. But I’m still here with you guys, even though you won’t admit it: your mama dances to Fela’s music, and I’ve killed people for Cubana.

Even though they were first dissatisfied, the crowd cheered the artist enthusiastically after he blew hot and then sang his popular songs.
