One person has been feared killed after gunshots were fired in the Ojota area of Lagos in the early hours of Monday, OduNews reports.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that a fight broke out between some members of the Oduduwa Peoples Congress and Yoruba nation agitators.
A resident in the axis who spoke to OduNews said one person was shot dead in the pandemonium.
Video footage shared online shows a large police presence in the area with teargas being fired to disperse the rioters.
