Armed Robbers Use POS to Rob Victims in Oyo Community

Armed robbers invaded Eleshin at Olomo community in Apete, Ido Local Government Area of Oyo State, Nigeria early on Saturday morning, using a point-of-sale device to transfer money from unsuspecting victims.

The robbers reportedly arrived in the area at around 1am and used the device to take an unspecified amount of money from one of their victims’ accounts.

They also took two phones, an iPhone 11 Pro Max and XS Max, and transferred an undisclosed amount of money from the victim’s wife’s account.
