A viral video showing some police officers battering a motorcycle rider in the Abule Egba part of Lagos has stirred angry reactions among social media users.
The video which shows the bike rider being beaten by the Police officers before taking his bike away was reportedly recorded on Monday.
In the video recorded by a passerby, the Okada rider’s head was covered with blood following the attack by men of the Nigerian police force.
There have been incessant cases of police brutality reported on social media in recent times with Nigerians sharing their gory encounters with some police officers.
The Police is yet to react to the trending video which has already become a trending topic on the social media platform, Twitter.
