The surprising turn of events has left fans disappointed and speculating about the reasons behind the cancellation.

Initially, Zinoleesky was set to embark on a whirlwind tour, scheduled to perform in 10 major cities across the United States throughout the month of September.

These cities included Washington DC, New York, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Cleveland, Los Angeles, Boston, and Indianapolis. Fans across the country had eagerly awaited the opportunity to witness his electrifying performances.

However, in a statement released on Sunday, by the show promoter, Fathia Entertainment, it announced the tour’s cancellation, citing “unforeseen circumstances beyond our control” as the reason for this disappointing decision.

The statement reads, “We regret to announce that the forthcoming 2023 US SHOW has been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. We are indeed so sorry, we apologize to all our American sisters & brothers who have tickets. We really do love you and we shall try to make it up; new dates will be communicated as the event unfolds. Thanks for your understanding.”

While the statement from Fathia Entertainment does not specify the exact nature of these “unforeseen circumstances,” speculation is rife that the cancellation may be linked to the ongoing controversy surrounding Zinoleesky in the wake of the tragic death of his former label mate, Mohbad.

Mohbad, a rising star in the music industry and a former colleague of Zinoleesky, passed away unexpectedly last Tuesday and was laid to rest the following day. The circumstances surrounding his death have raised questions, particularly given his previous disputes with Naira Marley, the head of Marlian Records.

In October 2022, Mohbad publicly alleged that he had been assaulted by Naira Marley, his record label boss at the time. He also claimed that members of the Marlian Music label had assaulted him when he requested a new manager.

Naira Marley, in his response to the allegations, insinuated that Mohbad may have been under the influence of substances when making these accusations. Eventually, Mohbad terminated his contract with Marlian Records.

In January, Zinoleesky publicly addressed his relationship with Mohbad, stating, “Yeah, Mohbad is my guy, but I can’t say he’s my friend like that. He is my friend but people I call my friend are people that are very close to me. Not just people that I know. Not just that we’re together. We can know each other and not be friends. That doesn’t mean we are enemies. I don’t think I have friends in the industry. I really don’t. Most of my friends are outside of the music industry.”

As fans and industry insiders speculate about the possible connections between these events, the cancellation of Zinoleesky’s US tour remains shrouded in mystery.

Concert-goers who had eagerly purchased tickets are now left disappointed, hoping for updates on rescheduled dates and answers to the questions surrounding the tour’s cancellation.
