The rapper, known for hits like “Lalakukulala,” had recently made headlines when videos surfaced on social media showing him appearing to collapse while surrounded by concerned friends.

“We are saddened to inform the general public that Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji aka OLADIPS has passed away yesterday,” the statement reads. “On November 14th, Tuesday evening at exactly 10:14 pm. We are still in shock as we speak! For over 2 years he has kept his battles within himself, his body is now with his family, and funeral services will be announced as soon as it is concluded! The family asked that we respect their privacy in this trying time. May God give us all the fortitude to bear this great loss.”
Oladips was born on March 24, 1995, in Ogun State, Nigeria. His musical journey began to shine when he won D’banj’s ‘King Is Here’ competition, a milestone that led to a record deal with Edge Records label, owned by the renowned rapper Reminisce.
