American singer  Alicia Keys at the 62nd annual Grammy Awards ceremony held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday evening lashed out at US President Donald Trump and called for rapper Cardi B to become a politician.

The singer during her performances at the event she hosted made the statement in her song, and before singing, she appreciated all the artists present at the event saying;

. “Tonight we must unite, despite of all the news that we’re seeing, commander in chief impeached. Ya’ll get out. Let’s bring Cardi B,”It’s just too many lies. Too much hate, too much spin. It’s when good people do nothing, that the bad guys win.”

Her remarks came weeks after Cardi B, who endorsed Senator Bernie Sanders for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination last year, announced that she was considering becoming a politician.

She further stated:

I think I want to be a politician. I really love government even tho I don’t agree with Government
