Singer Katy Perry still relishes the idea of living as she has booked a flight out of Australia after reportedly going on 24-hour lockdown.
The artist’s press tour in Australia was cut short and the 35-year-old singer was seen getting out of a car and walking through Sydney Airport yesterday, March 12, dressed in a grey hoodie, yoga pants, and Adidas sneakers.
As opposed to the face mask that many have been wearing in the wake of the outbreak of the coronavirus, Katy sought protection by pressing her mouth against a pillow.
Coincidentally, the singer’s lockdown was in Sydney’s Park Hyatt Hotel, the same hotel that actor Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson stayed at before the revelation that they had contracted the virus.
On that day, Katy had given a performance at the Fight On concert that was of benefit to bushfire relief efforts in the Pioneer Park Reserve.
Her husband-to-be Orlando Bloom has also had his work schedule disrupted as production on the second season of his Amazon show Carnival Row has been canceled. It was taking place in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star said that he would now have to go into quarantine, saying:
“It’s farewell from us, as we go home to be quarantined. We’re coming home to the States, at least I’m coming home to the States because we want to get in before the quarantine.”
