A 4oft container has fallen in the Dopemu area of Lagos, a day after a container crushed nine persons to death in the state.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Agency has said that the fallen 40 feet container occupied 90 per cent of the road.
LASTMA said, “A 40ft container laden truck fell at Sawmill inward Dopemu under bridge, it’s occupying 90 per cent of road. Our men are on ground doing the needful as effort is on for recovery.”
A tweep, Eniola Akinkuotu, shared a video clip of the moment the container fell of the truck.
Just this morning look at this container leaning along Sawmill Dopemu, looking for who to kill just after yesterday’s tragedy where nine people including children were crushed at Ojuelegba. It’s clearly caused by govt failure to enforce its law that bars trucks from 6am to 9pm pic.twitter.com/0FByuL1BBM
