There is a reason why the upcoming Birds of Prey movie is one of next year’s most anticipated films. It isn’t just because the caliber of the female actors is enough to make it a blockbuster. And it definitely has nothing to do with its affiliation with DC Comics.

Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn is one of the most anticipated movies of 2020 because of the rare nature of the plot. I mean, how many movies are out there in which female characters take it upon themselves to take the big bad male villain?

Not just is the plot intriguing but the characters themselves are interesting, with their widely differing personalities and wacky nature. It can only amount to an adrenaline-infused ride when the film hits theaters next year.
