‘Gretel And Hansel’: Sophia Lillis Is Gretel In New Image

A new image of IT star, Sophia Lillis, has emerged and it gives us our first look of the actress as Gretel in Gretel And Hansel, the upcoming horror re-imagining of the classic story of the siblings who do battle against evil.

The classic story of the brother and sister, who encounter a child-eating witch in the forest, was made popular by the Brothers Grimm in the early 1800s and has been told in different ways.

This time, the fairytale will be seen from Gretel’s perspective, with Lillis playing a slightly older version of Gretel. Sammy Leakey will co-star as her younger brother. The movie will be released on January 31, 2020.

Sophia Lillis is an American actress known for her role as Beverly Marsh in the horror film, IT. She was born on February 13, 2002, and started acting when she was seven years old.
