In an unexpected show of ungratefulness, some Nigerians have complained about the free food being given to them as they observe the lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.
A Twitter user shared a post on the social media platform in which a video shows a good Samaritan woman giving food to those who need it in a bid to reduce the hunger that has enveloped the nation due to the movement restrictions.
While the food (Jollof rice and meat) is being shared, some of the beneficiaries complain about the food.
A light-skinned lady, in particular, is seen expressing dissatisfaction with her share, saying, ‘I don’t eat Pomno’ (the local name for the tough hide of cow meat in the country).
The Twitter user blasted the people for their show of ingratitude, stating that they deserved to die of hunger.
See the post with the video and pictures below:
A Good Samaritan woman spent over N1m to feed Lagosians who may be finding it difficult to feed as a result of the lockdown.
You know what people did? Lamenting and abusing her that the meat is too small.
Some people deserve to die of hunger. Ingrates.https://t.co/LGdg8IxHaK pic.twitter.com/6UqsafNqrY
