United States has recorded 1,092,825 COVID-19 cases and 64,283 deaths as of Friday.
This was revealed by the US Centre for Disease Control and Prevention.
The CDC’s tally of cases of COVID-19, the respiratory illness caused by the new coronavirus, was effective as of 4 p.m. ET on Friday and was released on Saturday.
The United States continues to be the most hit country in the world from the virus.
The global cases have surpassed 3 million with 243,424 deaths as at Saturday, 2nd May.
