A Nigerian-based United States doctor, Stella Immanuel, has been trending on various social media platforms after she claimed that hydroxychloroquine cures COVID-19.
In a viral video, Dr Immanuel alongside a group of frontline doctors gave an impassioned speech testifying that hydroxychloroquine is capable of treating the novel coronavirus.
She claimed she had treated 350 patients in her clinic also called all doubters scientific fraud.
The video has however been deleted on Facebook after it garnered over 14 million views.
Different reactions have since trailed the ‘disclosure’ made by the doctor.
