The Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards which was held last weekend at the Eko Hotels and Suites Victoria Island, Lagos had ended in grand style, yet amidst so much controversy.
The show had lots of controversy from best dressed to worst, and some stars were displeased by the fact that some people are not remembered.
Nollywood actor Zubby Michael who was not happy with the fact that Living in Bondage, a movie that led the night, clinched 8 Awards without any form of recognition to the prequel which actually paved the way for the recently celebrated one.
He took to his page where he wrote:
“I am sure most of the organizer are Yoruba. They did not even recognize the pillars or Nollywood, the original owner of loving in Bondage was not mention but new living in Bondage got 8 awards, our dead heroes like Sam Loco and others where not mentioned, Award without people that made Mama G, Ski and Paw paw, Pete Edochie, Kanayo O Kanayo’.
