Ezra Miller, the actor who plays Flash in the DC Extended Universe, was recently spotted in a video attacking a female fan and choking her.
Miller played the speedster in ‘Justice League’, and some have wondered whether the clip wasn’t actually a joke.
Apparently, this isn’t the case as a source at the place of the altercation (a bar in Reykjavik, Iceland) confirmed to Variety that it is what it appears to be – an attack on the woman by the actor who was subsequently escorted off the premises.
In the video, Miller says, ‘Oh, you wanna fight? That’s what you wanna do?’ to the woman, who appears to be joking as she is seen smiling.
The actor suddenly grabs her by the throat and throws her to the ground, prompting the person with the camera to say, ‘Whoa, bro. Bro’. He stops filming and the footage ends abruptly.
According to Variety, the incident took place around 6pm a few days ago. There have been no previous incidents involving Miller.
The occurrence reportedly happened after the actor was confronted by a group of eager fans who got ‘pushy’. Things escalated when the woman approached him with her joke about fighting.
