Nigerian motivational speaker and lawyer Reno Omokri has enjoined Nigerian youths to stop begging as the nation continues to observe the lockdown to curb the COVID-19 pandemic.
No one could have forseen the current situation of the nation as the lockdown order has led to many crying out for help due to financial hardship.
Many prominent Nigerians have helped to ease the suffering of the masses by giving donations via social media. Among those doing this charitable gesture is Mr. Omokri.
The outspoken lawyer shared a message for the youths in the country, yelling them to stop begging as it could easily become a habit.
He wrote:
“I counsel Nigerian youths: Desist from begging. It can easily become a habit. Once that happens, it will kill your drive. You will become a social media almajiri. You won’t be able to break the habit. Your psyche will be automatically encoded to beg.”
